Dolphins have trade opportunity with EAGLES

Now Im not saying trade for T.O, Im saying that if T.O goes to another team the Eagles have NO WIDEOUTS, and they need at least one. For all you know we could get that 2nd round pick back if we trade Booker or Boston to them. Who knows maybe we could get a lineman too and add some more to the trade. Their 2nd year OT I believe is Shaun Andrews and he is a great Offensive Lineman, soo you never know there is always a opportunity to even trade for one of their D-Backs; like LITO SHEPPARD {great coverage and run stopping ability, but not too well known}. So I say we should think about it and hope T.O does get traded because then we could have a chance for a steal from the Eagles... due to them being desperate.

Lito Sheppard made the pro bowl last year. I think he is pretty well known and probably won't be traded for a WR that isn't a big time player. It's a good though, but I don't know that we could get that much for either of them considering one is coming off a very down year and the other hasn't been healthy for a while. Plus WR is a strong point for us right now. It has been a while since we could say that, and I'm not sure I would want to lose one of them.

We could trade booker & gilmore & thompson

The Eagles aren't going to trade Owens, and nobody is going to want him. I don't see why anyone hear wants him, he has a bigger ego than Rod Tidwell.

No one is giving up a 2nd rounder for Booker or Boston, the best you'd get is a mid to late rd pick.

They can have Gordon and Thompson for Sheppard. The odds of them taking that trade is slim though.

yeah, it's not personal Owens, whom by the way, takes everything personal! Who in there right mind trades for him?

I hope the Eagles make him sit and stew! And if the Fins don't make the Superbowl, I hope the Eagles win it without him!

Hey let's give them another 2nd round pick, but this time for a real QB... MCNABB!! They owe it to us based on the dog and pony show they sold us when we got Feeley.

*sighs*

just when i never thought i would see this one:shakeno:

Especially because when McNabb was picked in the draft by Philly every Philly fan boo'ed him. They wanted Ricky Williams. Boy I tell you us fans we sure are ungreatful

Being realistic, the Eagles aren't going to give up anything significant for David Boston, as he was just on the free agent market a few months ago and was fielding hardly any offers even for the vet's minimum...plus you get rid of one headache and welcome another one on a one year contract that can't be touched since it was signed less than a year ago? If they're desperate enough and it looks like they will be without T.O. then we get maximum a 4th for Boston and that's if he does well against the Jags tomorrow...their GM has a reputation to uphold. Then you've got Derrius Thompson, who they MAY trade a coke and a ham sandwich for, and Bryan Gilmore, who may garner late round consideration (5th or 6th).

Booker may be the guy that holds the most trade value, but we have to wonder if we really want to get rid of him before we know what he can do for us in the new offense opposite a guy like Chambers. Theoretically, I think we COULD get back a 2nd rounder for Booker...because he would be a long term holding for them, a standup guy with no attitude and has talent that could help Donovan for years.

Then again, if David Boston really looks that good, and so does Bryan Gilmore, maybe we should trade Booker now while he still has trade value. He never really has fully assimilated with the Phins.

Why the heck you guys want to trade Marty "Mighty" Booker. Have you seen the game on Monday night how he caught the ball and was getting open..He is a good complement to Chambers...

Trade Thompson and Donald Lee ...

I wouldn't trade a case of athletes' foot for T.O. Why would you want that head case for anyway? what did he do for the eagles last year anyway? They were getting to the NFC game before without him and he wasn't playing when they won it. And he surely didn't help them win the SB !! I'm just wondering what is so special about him anyway? Other than his big mouth anyway! :D

Looking at the long term future of the Dolphins, this year both David Boston and Bryan Gilmore look ready to really step up. Boston is a one year solution too, especially if he has a dynamite year. If we were able to pull a 2nd round pick for Booker in a year where we've got David Boston with the ability to step in for him, that would help us out for years to come, probably on defense where you will see this season that our success in previous seasons is not going to necessarily carry over until we get some studs in the secondary, linebackers, and defensive tackle.

LOL... Sorry, I couldn't help it. I figured I might as well look as nuts as many others on here. "When you can't beat 'em..." I have LOVED McNabb since his Syracuse days (as I am from Syracuse) But he is Philly's Marino, and will be there his entire carreer, as he should.
