Merged 2X:Dolphins release Kelly Campbell

Oh well, that's one less WR for Sam and Hakim to to compete with.
 
Damn had not heard he was not doing well. Come on PK sam.

add me to the david sutton fan club...he is a monster but i think the numbers crunch will send im to the practice squad... but here is hoping
 
I'm surprised quite frankly. I thought that he'd at least compete until the 53 man cut...guess the youngsters are looking more promising.
 
Let me tell you all something Hakim like Green has been in this Offense throughout his whole career. If he were to stay with the club he could be a sleeper, but it seems our rookies have really impressed or Campbell had some little stint that was not made public.

Remember Campbell has been in trouble before and yea last year there was an article on he had changed, but i have read to many of those. Cam and Mueller are really trying to get rid of all the players with troubled past. I hope you know what this mean for Ricky if and when he is reinstated.
 
By releasing Campbell now, it gives him a chance to join another team before the start of training camp.
 
I don't see how any WRs aside from the big four will crack the lineup. When you have guys as talented as Ginn and Hagan as your 3 and 4 WRs, I don't see anyone below them on the depth chart getting any time aside from on the practice squad.
