Merged 3x: Corey Simon released by the Eagles

my guess is philly made him a good offer, but simon insisted hes worth more. the eagles released him, but simon will re-sign once he realizes he cant get more. As for signing him? No. We have enough money invested in the d-line
 
What does TO care, in fact he's happy, Philly was/is going to waive TO after this season anyhow because of his contract. That's how his big mess bagan to begin with, he wanted it restructured for more of a guarantee.

Not at the change he's asking for. He wants QB money. Baltimore said his demands are crazy.

I agree with posters that say his cap is to high, and philly knows this! When it comes down to a team only willing to pay him what philly offered he signs with philly because they are contenders!

EDIT: Saban how good of a recruiter are ya! :lol:
 
why would we sign him of all teams.....specially if we dont have alot of cap
 
He is more of a one gap DT. He is quick and more of a 4-3 guy. I really think Saban is looking for big one gap run stopping DTs. I really don't feel he is what Saban is looking for. IMO

They are not cutting him loose. They are simply rolling the dice that no other team has the money to sign him & they will then be able to get him back cheaper.
