Merged 3x: Jerry Porter Wants Out Of Oakland

they just reported on ESPNRADIO that jerry porter is asking to be traded, apparently he doesnt get along with art shell.

interesting. He is a solid receiver. If he can't get along with Shell, then Oakland has no choice but to trade him. It will be interesting to see where he ends up because he will make any offense better.

Yeah, and also what the asking price is too.

if he doesnt get along with shell he wont get along with Nick....he might want to go and enroll at Pitt with Wanny

I'd expect Green Bay, Philadelphia, or San Francisco to start getting in trade talks for this guy. These teams don't have a go-to receiver.

If Philadelphia wants to even get a Wild Card slot, they must try to get this guy.

Maybe Denver since, Ashley Lelie is on the trade block too.

All depending on Javon Walker's health. If he's ahead of schedule, they will have no need for Jerry Porter. Besides, you don't trade with your division rivals.

That is true, but this Shanahan though.

If Philly wants to get to the playoffs they need alot more than Jerry Porter. They're the worst team "on paper" in that division, but who knows how it will play ouf. They showed Porter on PTI and guy is ripped. If Aaron Brooks wasn't an awful Qb they have the makings of a great offense. With that said I don't think he would be traded in division but if Kansas City had an opportunity to get him lookout. If he does get traded I think they would wait and see if a top wideout gets hurt.
