Ok guys take it for what it is worth, but on 610 am philadelphia sprots radio this morning, they were reporting that a dolphin representative was over heard setting a metting up with eagle brass for today to begin discussions on a trade with the eagles which would include Donavan Mcnabb.

The story is that reporters of the radio station were at a public place
yesterday and were seated behind a dolphin representative who was on a cell phone setting up the meeting with the eagles for today.

This got alot of play this morning, just wanted to pass it on.

If Donovan Mcnabb is included then that means we must be giving up a lot. Possibly Taylor, Thomas, or Porter must be included in that trade.... or our first overall.

i know it is wierd but it was on the radio this am on the way to the office

anybody else from this area listening the morning also hear about this?

Please God Noooooo! Not another washed up QB with knee problems. This would be the worst thing that could happen to a re-building team who wants to get younger. Please save the picks. If you are going to trade picks for a QB at least grab a potential future franchise QB like Anderson instead of Donovan freakin McNabb.

There is no way we could possibly be dumb enough to do this right? :shakeno:

Good, maybe we can trade our draft picks and get Culpepper back too.

i hope it is not real myself, just wanted to pass it on after I heard it

McNabb won't have a Brian Westbrook here to bail him out and pad his stats. Although, Ronnie Brown is pretty close.

It doesn't matter, McNabb stinks. If you think we have had inaccurate quarterbacks here before, wait until you see McNabb play. The only thing he is good for is dumping off passes out of the backfield or chucking up prayers to his wide outs.

if we gave up ANY of those players for Mcnabb i would be MAD the most i would give up is a 2nd

It depends, he might not be as pricey as some thing if the Eagles are trying to unload him to make room for that kid from Houston they drafted last year.
Though Im not sure what we could give for him. JT or Zach dont really make sense if the eagles are looking to move on at QB. They need a WR in the worst way, but CC already got traded. Maybe Booker? But hes not worth McNabb. Booker and a 6th or something? Seems low, but I dont think McNaabs value is high unless the Bears or Falcons jump in on it.

IMO Ronnie is better then Westbrook these are the top 5 back in the NFL IMO
1. Ladainian Tomlinson
2. Adrian Peterson
3. Ronnie Brown
4. Brian Westbrook
5. Larry Johnson(when Healthey)

there is no way we would have to give up the first pick.. at worst we would give up one of our seconds.. and thats at worst.. i bet we could get him for a 3rd or 4th.. not implying i agree with it, just my opinion on what we would have to give up. they also(except maybe taylor) wouldnt want a player in return, just a pick/s. but i do think we need some sort of vet. qb in camp, and NO way should we draft anyone this year unless its a second day pick.. we used a 2nd on beck last year and think of the number of good qbs that took a few years to develop.. not saying beck is gonna be great, but history shows good/great qbs take time to develop that arent named Dan Marino.. aikman, elway, young, favre, hassellbeck, brees, even peyton manning sucked at first. so im not givin up on beck just yet.

I'm guessing none of you watched Mcnabb play any this year. Do some research or at least watch some film before you bash the guy. He has no body to throw the ball to yet he always makes plays with his arm and his legs.
