yea it is, but it was a move we needed to make. It wasnt liek we lost a draft pick though, figure Ogun for Booker and Gordon.ajdoggie said:Gordon's a rent-a-back for this year before we get someone in the offseason next year. That's a pretty expensive rent-a-back, 3rd round draft pick.
this would be a horrible trade. seau and ZT are getting older and we need to keep out LB's. Moore/Bua would get more time next year if Seau takes off.PhinPhreak said:In exchange for Johnson the Chiefs were seeking a linebacker, wide receiver or a draft pick. The Dolphins said they were still considering making the move for a linebacker, which would be a credit to that franchise for continuing to aggressively work their way out of a hole.

Ricky WILL come back next year because he will be broke. He wont ever wear the fins colors though. We wont give him the contract he wants and I dont think the players would ever welcome him back.MDolphins2003 said:I like having L. Gordon next season and beyond. Yeah the Fins still need another RB. But 1st they need to get a GOOD OLINE w/o that it does not matter who is running the ball.
Hell with this CRAZY OFFSEASON,PRESEASON & SEASON.....Maybe Ricky comes back next year. You never know anymore with MIAMI.

I like a James/Gordon 1-2 punch next season.MDolphins2003 said:I hear you all the WAY. But with Miami NOW you never know. If the OLINE keeps getting the RB's killed. What FA RB is going to want to come in and play. So Miami would be looking at the DRAFT for a RB....(Wrong....1st 4 picks OL!!!)
Miami might need Ricky more than Ricky needs Miami. So never might not be never in Miami!

Outch. I guess graduating from the #4 party school in the nation (last year when I graduated), a school with one of the greatest college football coaches in the history of the NCAA, 30+ years of football dominance, with a degree in chemical engineering from a top 10 engineering program in america, is overshadowed by 2 losing football seasons?T-ROCK said:He's worth trading Eddie Moore for... And as for the crying, who really cares... I'd cry, too, if I had to call myself a graduate of Penn State over the past half dozen years...
LoL, moore I would consider, but our starting SLB?? HELL NO! LJ isnt that great of a RB, let ALONE behind our horrible Oline. We already traded a 3rd for Gordon, we just need to ride him this year. Are you guys really trying to say that you wouldn't give up an Eddie Moore, or heck even a Morlon Greenwood, to take a shot on Larry Johnson? I'd do it in a heartbeat, even WITH the whining, the overrated-ness etc.
Not Morlon Greenwood, he is a hell of a tackler, and plays excellent versus the run!ckparrothead said:Are you guys really trying to say that you wouldn't give up an Eddie Moore, or heck even a Morlon Greenwood, to take a shot on Larry Johnson?
