I don't really want to get into the truthfulness or lack thereof of Prisco's comments....However, I am wondering about the stats. When I was looking at the yards per game for defense and offense and then the rank from 2004, I noticed that they have NE's D giving up 310.8 ypg and ranking 9th a year ago. Then Miami gives up 305.9 ypg and we are ranked 31st!?!?!? Something ain't stirring the Kool-Aid!!?!?!

If you want to have credibility with me....first make sure your stats are sound!!:lol:
 
lol but the thing is if he said something good about miami you would not react like this i think it's your inner homer coming out
 
That's not a rare occurence. We usually play in hell late in the season every year. It is always frozen over. It is disguised under the name of Buffalo, but we all know what it truly is!!
 
First off you should be ashamed of yourself for reading it and then letting it get to you. He's allowed his opinion, no different then you are.

Second, what did he say that was wrong? We don't have enought talent...as compared to the rest of the AFCE...to make the playoffs.

We're all homers and fans, but sometimes you have to think about reality and also think that we play really good teams. At best, we're looking up at them.

This article is coming from a man who has absolutely no football knowledge. He takes common media perception and writes a three page article, based on nothing but what he has heard or read from other sports writers. I don't take offence to someone believing the dolphins will finish out of the playoffs, I take offence to the fact that Pete Prisco states with absolutely certainty that they will not even contend because "we have a long way to go". How many times can you write the same thing about one team before you actually have to support the arguement with facts that you yourself have observed?

I know there are alot of stupid analysists, but Pete Pisco takes the cake. Every time I read something of his he is either saying the most obvious thing possible or predicting the exact same thing to happen as it did last year. He literally knows almost nothing about what he's talking about, no matter what sport.

Why even let stuff like this concern you? Everyone knows Pete is biased against the Phins, but truthfully what has Miami done to say otherwise?
