Someone will be picking him up soon, he is a dependable young CB who I think we could use due to our depleted and not so effective secondary. I think under saban he might be able to really step it up. For anyone who doesn't know, he was cut by the Broncos.....
 
we need all the help at CB that we can get. I wouldn't mind picking him up, he was the starter going into the season for the Broncos. he's 6'4, that's huge for a corner.
 
he gets beat on the deep ball way too much. There's a reason he lost his starting job in denver. I agree we need the help we can get at corner, but Walls is not the solution. We need to go after Nate Clements in the off-season.

I think Clements just signed an extension with Buffalo, but I'm not 100% sure. Anyway, next year, we will have Poole, Madison, & Daniels. CB will not be a pressing issue.

NOOOO, Clements/Clemens, whatever his name is has stated he wants to be the highest paid corner in the league. Corners are a very tricky pick up. Some flourish on one team, and stink it up with others. Do you think Winfield-ex Bill, and Fred Smoot were worth 22 million up front combined for the Vikings?
 
Theres no way Clements gets signed by us. He wants biiiggggggg money and says hes one of the top corners in the game. Hes been burned a bunch this year and Buffalo will let him walk. Sabans not gonna shell out for this guy.
 
Yea in the Pats game he got straight out burned by Branch

hes awsome.i think we need to get on that.He has so much potential
 
According to Yahoo, Lenny Walls was released, and it wasnt bc of his injury. It was due to the other CBs playing well

Technically he wasnt released yet, but he will be. I woudlnt mind him coming here. Hell Champ Bailey gets beat deep in the Denver system. Also the Broncos gave up on Delta Oneil as well and hes had 10 ints in less than 2 season with the bengals.(not that it means anything really) Walls is still fairly young though and would be an ok pick up, nothing spectacular though.
 
Local news here in Denver just reported him as released. I would say no at first too, but the Deltha O'Neal point is well taken.
 
Well he couldn't be any worse than Howard can he??:confused:
