Merged 5x: Bill Cowher

Adam Schefter just said it on Point After too, I would be doing backflips if he came here to coach and brought Dick LeBeau with him.
 
We'd have to pay him like 10 Mill to come here. I would love to have him but I think he'll either stay in Pitt or retire.
 
Ronnie would flourish under Cowher, he's a power running back and so was Bettis.
 
Any radio reports right now are just speculation. You're going to see a lot of names thrown around. Personally I don't understand why Cowher is being mentioned. The only reason that he's leaving the Steelers is that he wants to retire. How does that lead anyone to believe he's interested in coming here?
 
Man, I know he may be a good coahc but I hate the Steelers and Cowher is annoying as hell. No Cowher
 
Cowher is a great coach and would love to have him in Miami I don't know why anybody wouldn't want him.
 
I think Cowher is a very good coach but I'm not sure he would be a great fit in Miami. I get the sense that Cowher is burnt out. Hell, I would be too after so many years of working with the intensity that he exhibited in Pitt for so long.
I'm not sure that he has the hunger right now to be competing for a championship. Things are (were) pretty good for Cowher in Pittsburgh. He has(d) great ownership, good players and an incredible fan base. The Steelers are prepared to pony up some serious dough, and yet he still does not seem interested. If he leaves the Steelers, I'm not convinced that Miami would be that appealing to him, and vice-versa.
Whoever does become the coach of the Dolphins, I hope they come with passion, commitment and character. I really thought we had all three with the last guy.
 
Hopefully Miami will find their own Mangini this time around.
