Merged 5x: Quintin Williams Arrested for DUI/Drag Racing

Just FYI ... here is a better bac chart that helps you know what you can drink and still be legal.

http://sumweb.syr.edu/health/baccharta.htm

Just so you all dont use the calculator and press a wrong button and think you can drink a keg and still be legal.

btw ... only an idiot drives that fast after they have been drinking.

I will be afraid to go around Saban if i was him. I am sure that Saban will give him a butt chewing over that.

Or maybe yet, he'll scratch his butt as he's chewing him out.

Who really thought he was going to make the team anyway?

eh...whatever...595 at 4 in the morning is pretty empty anyways..thats where a lot of racing goes down...he should have just been a lil more careful...he wont get cut for this...its just a DUI....he'll just take the bus now...lol

Maybe the name is slipping my mind... but I'm not sure that I've ever heard of Quintin Williams before. Supposedly he is a Dolphins safety. This article just showed up on Yahoo NFL news indicating that he was arrested for DUI while doing 111 mph on the freeway. Travares Tillman was his passenger.

I hope Saban takes care of this. So far since he got here, Traveres Tillman has gotten hurt in mini-camp and been involved in letting some moron camp fodder safety crank up his ride to 111 while 3 times over the legal limit. Can anyone say Lance Schulters? :shakeno:

Since when is a .087 three times over the limit?

I don't know. I don't even know what any of that crap means- .08, .087. The bottom line is he was drunk.

How in one statement can you say you don't know what it means and then turn around and say he was drunk. Again not defending him or anyone who chooses to drink and drive but there's a difference between what a limit is set at and the what the actual limit could be. If he was going 66 in a 65 yes you can say he was speeding, but most people wouldn't even blink at the thought, now was it the same as going 110 in a 65? No. I understand that drinking and driving is a huge issue and many people have lost friends and family to accidents involving DWI, but again in his case you are talking 1/4 if even that of a beer and he is considered sober, so your telling me that had he not had that last 1/4 of his beer and blew a .079 that is ok because the law states that he is under. When the truth is there are people out there who could have 2 drinks, be under the limit and still should not be driving, while there are others who could have 4-5 and still be perfectly fine.

What is even more wierd is people are more upset with the fact that he was .007 over the limit then the fact that he was driving recklessy at 110 mph.

If I had to put my family on the road and had to choose between someone flying down the road at 110mph or someone who had 3 drinks, I would take my chances with the 3 drinks. Now I am sure there will be those of you who misunderstand what I am saying and think I am approving of drinking and driving, I am not, I myself actually don't drive if I have had more then one beer, but I am also a reasonable person and will say that as stupid as this guy was for people to be grouping him with some of these other drivers that are truly intoxicated is crazy, and yes I would say this even if it was a Bills player.
