WKMG Protest
Orlando area Dolphins fans have a lot to huff and puff about. Please join me in protesting this non-response:
My position is that, after having gone to great lengths to attempt to 'get' the Dolphin's game versus the Bucs last weekend and having been rebuffed by the league, and now having promised the local market ... during a weekend in which the Jaguars (and even Bucs) are NOT PLAYING, the league is essentially snubbing it's nose at FLORIDA NFL fans.
My response to WKFG follows:
Please understand that your disinterest or otherwise unwillingness to pursure the matter of the NFL pulling yet another Miami Dolphins game from your broadcast schedule in favor of what will inevitably be lower performing Friday night broadcasts has moved my household to more severe action.
WKMG and CBS is hereby banned from viewing in my household. No one watches your crappy local news broadcasts or 60 Minutes any longer anyhow.
Since the NFL insists I must travel south from Orlando to get to a situation in which I am forced to outbid a hurricane evacuee for a hotel room that might broadcast the game, I feel compelled to ask you to report on not just the legality, but also the MORALITY or the NFL's decision.
The message to S. Floridians is ... 'if you want to watch the Dolphins play Friday night, throw back a few and come out and have an ***-splitting good time.
The message to anyone else in Florida is '**** YOU!'
I think Jeb Bush should step in ask GW to declare a ****ing federal disaster zone.
Yeah... it might have been a better sell LY, but heah ... nobody's perfect enough or drunk enough...

"We have requested the Dolphins game this Friday from CBS...the NFL has
turned us down. The game will only be given to the primary and secondary
markets...Miami, West Palm, Ft Myers, Kansas City, Topeka...the NFL's
purpose is to keep games away from Friday nights to protect high school
football games in local markets"
