Merged (a zillion times over): Joe Philbin HC Trapper Keeper

How can some people believe some things, go crazy one way or the other, and then other info comes out, and they go crazy one way or the other...and they end up blaming the DOLPHINS for all of these reports. And...we still don't know!
 
miami is happy.

lets see how well we implement a west coast offense and lets see who is calling the plays since philbin cant.

another o-line coach might be just what we need.

I have been on "Team McCoy", so I am a little disappointed that he wasn't their choice. I liked his adaptability and the fact that he was a young former quarterback. That said, I am still going to support the decision to go with Philbin and hope it works out. Both McCoy and Philbin had their positives, so I am excited for what the future holds.

This news made my day. Woot woot, thats the train we are taking to our new west coast offense. If Philbin can bring Flynn with him Ross will have made a slam dunk!!
 
I wonder if Ross has been weighing fan sentiment. He seems like the kind who would. With this prolonged search he's had an opportunity to. Philbin usually wins the informal polls you guys keep participating in. You might have had a hand in choosing our next coach. Congrats. You get what you deserve.
 
I'm cool with this if he brings Tom Clements in as OC. Kevin Greene at DC would be a dream scenario.
