Merged: Al Davis asks Kiffin to resign, Kiffin Refuses

One word, SENILE. Al Davis is screwing the Raiders Franchise into the ground to the point that one one is going to want to play for them.
 
How Al Davis is still an owner puzzles me. You know he'll never sell the team either, he'll own them until he's dead and gone. Kiffin probably refused to be his "yes man". Assuming Kiffin won't be there next year, i'm going on record to say the next guy they hire is a moron for taking the job.

Al Davis is off his rocker (Non-fins)

I know this isnt fins stuff and itll be moved but just thought you football guys wanted to know that Dennis Green could become the new head coach of the Oakland raiders.. Al Davis is off his rocker
 
No, the fact that he drafted a resignation letter for Kiffin, then expected him to sign it so he could then hire Green... that makes him off his rocker!

Cant believe he isnt dead yet.. Al Davis will never die, he will run the Raiders even deeper than his grave

Dennis Green apparently
 
Not only did he ask Kiffin to resign, he sent a letter of resignation to him which had already been typed up as well, it only needed Kiffin's signature. Obviously, Lane is not going to do that when he can simply just wait for Davis to fire him and collect the money he is owed. I heard he was interested in Green as well.
 
This is crazy. I thought Kiffin did a good job with that terrible team. I like Kiffin as a coach and I thought he would turn that around franchise around in X amount of years. Davis has gone insane if he wasnt already and its really showing with this. He should sell the team because under him, that team will never get turned around.
