Man, I'm beggining to feel very impatient and frustrated with the F/O. Why haven't we signed any Free Agents. It seems like everyone else is bidding or rushing to sign avaliable players and I have yet to see the Phins go after anyone. It's the first day of free agency and the dolphins have yet to sign ONE player.

The only thing i've heard is going after WR Kelley Washington.

Even the Joey Porter saga is pure speculation at this point. All good avalaible Free Agents are signing slowly but surely. Heck, we aren't even in the Dielman race.

What's going on? There's no big splash in free agency for the Phins?? What are we waiting for??

Start signing!!!!

I could care less about fa I want to save the cap space and draft our needs. FA is nice but not the end of the world if we get no big names.

we only have 6 picks...we cant really draft our needs with just that..but it would be nice to hit on all 6

Yeah, what the hell has new england been thinking all these years!!:rolleyes2

OMG...the first day is almost over and we haven't signed anyone yet ?? Guess our season is over already....

Seems to be the trend in Miami. We wait and wait. So, I guess we will wait some more.

We might sign someone next week.

I'm sure by then other teams will have filled there needs.

this is the usual dolphin offseason

wrong team if you want big signings

OMG...the sky is falling...the first day of FA isn't even over yet and Dolfans are panicking...Guess it's time to slit my wrists...

Steinbach was just signed by CLE. Dockery was signed by BUF. Oh, brother...now the pressure is strong on us hitting with Dielman. Because there arent any other G's out there worth cutting James, Mckinney, DMac, Fonoti, Anderson, and Jacox for...

Relax! It's the first day and there's not going to be any big signings yet, unless someone had a backdoor deal already done. Everyone is going to go around and see what they can get from teams before signing. Expect us to have some visits within the next week by some players but signings won't happen by most until then. The F/O is fine, just give them some time to work!:D

I'll bet you're one of those people that looks at their microwave and says "God, can't somebody come up with something that cooks my pizza faster?"

It's only the first day.....be patient grasshopper:cooldude:

Guard is by far the easiest offensive line position to plug a guy into without spending big bucks. Personally I'm very glad we didn't sign either of those guys to huge contracts. There may be two or three guards in the league worth 7 million a year and none of them are free agents.

I'd rather us sign the RIGHT players than sign a bunch of guys immediately

Rotoworld is reporting Cooper Carlisle, OG from the Broncos, will visit with the Dolphins.

Guys, its easy to point to teams that have won championships and their lack of FA activity, but look at our roster. We dont have the talent of these teasm, partially due to poor drafts. If you draft poorly you have no choice but to supplement what talent you do have with capable free agents. Im equally frustrated that we have not been more active, not only in terms of actual signings, but even visits or scheduled visits. A guy is not going to visit three teams without signing (normally). We have cut loose the majority of our OL and while they werent setting the world on fire, you have to replace them somehow with capable boidies. You have to think the GFront Office was confident they could make a splash with the FA Olinemen if they were willing to dump all these guys. So yes, I have to agree, its not only frustrating but surprising to me that we dont appear to be players in any of the OL dealings. You're living in a dream world if you think this team can address all its needs with 6 draft picks. And dont tell me about the Pats and Colts... because the reason they havent been active in FA is because they have drafted terrific football players and instant contributors each and every year. In their current state, the Miami Dolphins are in need of an overhaul, and at least part of it must come from quality free agents.

If we don't sign any free agents and save all that money for signing draft needs then we will have plenty of money left over that i guess Wayne can put back in the bank. And if we don't get a big name in FA your right it won't be the end of the world, But it could mean we aren't going to do much next season.

I mean I agree we may need some FA to fill spots but just because we don't sign big names its not the end of the world is my main point. I rather focus on drafting talent than getting it though FA at a major price. I mean I am sure miami may get some smaller names but I am not expecting much big names wise.
