MERGED: Apologize To Booker/Trade My ***

Ill man up..I've been very critical of Marty..even calling for trades. He looked great today and I'm thrilled to admit I was wrong about him.

Bro Bookman raised to the occasion, split the defenders, and went the distance! Much love, and appreciation to Booker! We have always been behind you!:rofl3:  :beerbang:

LoL... how did i know Jimmy was going to gloat? :D

I don't take extreme positions on everything. For instance, I didn't participate much in the Gus on AJ madness. I absolutely had to take the position I have taken on Booker, though. You will all see as you see him play more. He doesn't look imposing, and he doesn't make the highlight catch like Chambers can, but he is the complete receiver. I wouldn't feel the need to gloat all that much except that some people went loco on Marty over the past year. He didn't deserve that treatment because he is a class act, and I'm happy to say I have been steadfastly on his side since day one. :)

Good man! It's all good! At least you had the sack to say you were wrong!:)

sorry.... not going to do it... i never said he was bad, i said he's not a game breaker...

he had a solid game, yes... but if you feel he's a game-breaker because he beat a cramped-up CB who couldn't run and made no play on the ball, that's cool...

i will eat crow about the dolphins ability to move the ball today... however... i really thought they'd struggle more... very optimistic performance!

I don't think anyone would say he's a game breaker more than just a capable possesion reciever. I gotta stop drinking dotday...

He's a very good possession receiver. He's been a pro bowl WR as a possession WR.

Our WR's compliment each other perfectly. Chambers is the tough catch, highlight reel double coverage drawing guy, Booker is the guy who can make you pay for double teaming Chambers, Welker is the small hidden shifty guy in the slot and Boston is the intimidation factor.

Why are we fighting about this, we should be happy that we have a really talented WR corps.

I dont remember a trade Booker thread...but I was very impressed!! Didnt know he had that much speed:eek: !! Keep it up Marty!

Do you think we can we trade {Booker} and Ricky (or #1pick) to try to get Matt Leinart next year?!

I know the guy had one good year in Chicago but, what has he done here in a year and a preseason? I've been looking for this guy to do something and nada! Promote Boston to the #2 and demote booker to #3.

IMO:

1. Chambers
2. Boston
3. Welker
4. Booker (would love to trade for a 3rd round pick)

yeah, and Booker, an average receiver at this point with no second gear (you can't convince me otherwise) didn't even want to be here last year... he hated the trade...

How many of you think Booker would.....rather leave Monday nights game on the Chicago bus rather than Miami???

That's just the start. There are many more, sadly.

..Not sure why my opinion on his attitude has ANYTHING to do with how I feel about him in a Dolphin uniform...but if it makes you feel better thats fine to.
