Possibily the best running game in football and one of the wrost QB's in football. So on 3rd and 3 with the game on the line why was Frerotte even given the ball.

You're right why the hell was he given the ball. Gus is a below average quarterback. Just give Ricky or Ronnie the ball and look pretty.

I was wishing the whole game we would see Dan run out of the tunnel with his 13 jersey on, take gus on the sidelines kick him in the butt and take the center. I would rather have Marino in a wheel chair the Gus.

amen to that and i may say that bob griese and dan both were wishing they were out there. I would love to know what bob and the rest of the old timers had to say about the game.

This is true...with all the uncertainties surrounding the concept of replacing Gus with Sage, the one thing that can't be argued is that it can't get any worse. Even when we win, it isn't b/c of Gus, but despite Gus. Sad...just sad.

It was actually a pretty good call, Linehan isnt the one that tried to force the ball through 3 players. Gus should have thrown the f$*#ing ball away and went for it on 4th down.

If I never seen Gus in a Miami uniform again it would be too soon. I've held it back and held it back, but this was the straw that broke the f'ing camels back. I hate Gus and I would rather see Sage in there playing bad that Gus in there playing bad.

I don't care if Dan Marino was behind the center, it still would have been a bad call. R&R were averaging over 6 yards per carry. Even if the play did get a first down, or even a touchdown, it still would have left WAY too much time on the clock for the Falcons. They would have just driven down and kicked a field goal.
