I just want to temper this thread, Since Marino Retired, there has always been a second or third stringer that people have fallin in love with during the preseason, only to get their wish through injury and the guy has totally sucked during a real game. Not saying Berlin would suck during a real game, but that has been the trend.

maybe I am reading it wrong, but Clumpy has the dead cap at 600K after 6-1, maybe I just don't understand how he has the chart set up. :confused:

I don't understand any of the cap stuff either. I think the dead cap goes onto next years cap. I'm probably wrong though.

I know some of you hate to admit it, but Brock Berlin is doing his best to play his way onto this team. He has completed 15-21 passes so far this preseason with a TD and an INT. That's a completion percentage of roughly 71%. I don't care if he is going against third string players. He's also playing with third and fourth string players, and this is the whole point of preseason games. Guys like Brock Berlin get the opportunity to play themselves into a roster spot.

I said it in another post about Brock recently. His strength has always been his accuracy, and he is proving that this preseason.

I don't recall a free agent rookie ever looking so good. In fact many 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round QBs usually struggle early on. He looks good for a young 3rd string Pro and worth keeping.
