Merged: Bobby Taylor/ Koren Robinson Released

There is still hope for Koren. Sometimes all a player needs is a change of scenary. I wouldnt be upset if we brought in koren(i doubt we will) but we would be able to get him for cheap and he still has alot of upside.

I doubt he will be very cheap...

Nasty

ROBINSON DROPS MORE BALLS than Randy McMichael and Rob Konrad in ONE game than they did in a season : )

Koren Robinson!!!

He's not that fast, doesn't score much, and He's inconsistent........BUT BRING HIM HERE!!!!! I was a Koren Believer like 2 years ago, but being released pretty much confirms that Seattle couldn't put up with his play. Too bad we signed Boston because i would've loved to have Koren as our #3. Did any of you guys get to catch his ESPN interview done at the Miami Seaquarium??? He basically stated that his favorite animal is a Dolphin and that if he weren't on the Seahawks he would love to be a Phin. Timing's a BlTch in The NFL, huh?

K. Robinson, the posterchild for being an idiot
spot on.

One thing pi$$es me off about some football guys and he epitomises it...

I would give a hell of a lot to have the talent that Koren Robinson possesses... I sure as hell wouldn't waste it. I have absolutely no time for players like him, he's an idiot!!

I wasn't expecting Robinson to be released either, however he does have a problem catching the ball.

then you were not paying attention. You should of been surprised that he wasn't released earlier. He has attitude problems and catching problems. Like a slower TO that cannot catch the ball.

Edit: Actually worse since TO does not have a problem with dating mary jane

i think if we can get him cheap we should get him. Saban won't put up w/ his crap, and he could mellow out, and be the best 4th receiver in the league. Plus he would be great support in case of injury. Whoever thinks we are loaded at WR has already forgotten last year.

I don't think WR was the problem last year. I think the fact that no one knew exactly what they were supposed to do last year was the problem

do you people think that just because Saban brought in Elam with off the field problems, that all of a sudden Miami will become a haven for all turds?

my god, I thought the bucs were bad with who they picked up....but people saying Koren Robinson would be good? And another poster in another thread saying that we should maybe make a play for Mike "At least I didn't hit anyone" Doss? Tommy "Geico" Maddox?

Honestly, what is the fascination with mentioning EVERY single player that's released or talked about being traded as being somebody Miami would consider?

wtf? you just explained why we wouldn't want him, yet say that they should bring him in anyway?

If you want a guy who can catch some deep passes every now and then, I think Koren would be alright. But, if you want a guy who will catch the ball on 3rd down, Koren's not your man.

The top three WRs from that year in the draft were David Terrell, Koren Robinson, and Rod Gardner. They all have horrible hands.

A couple of years ago i wanted Koren here. Now with all of his off the field problems, i do not want him apart of this team. Besides, we Have Chambers,Booker,Boston and Thompson. Why would we want another WR for?

Chambers = talented
Booker = average
Boston = Injury (hasnt played in over a year)
Thompson = garbage

Yes Robinson has his issues, but so does Boston. How can you exept one and then say the other is a trouble maker?

Booker = above average
Thompason = above garbage

One of Boston's issues is not the inability to catch the football.

Chambers=Talented like you said

Booker=Above average(will do good in Lienhan's offense)

Boston=Is ready to comeback and seek revenge

Thompson=Is showing improvent and will ge a great 4th WR

All four of them can catch the ball, Robinson cannot. So therefore you cannot trust Robinson when throwing the ball to him. I would take any of those four WR over Robinson.
