Seems is though your friend might end up being shocked. Looks like Drew is heading down to New Orleans for his visit.
 
he might, but read the article. All it reported was that Saban and Mueller were on there way down to Bama. And a league source said he was still planning to meet with New Orleans.

No one has reported how the meeting has gone, or if Brees is on his way to New Orleans yet.
 
Wait you read he was done with the Phins meeting and now on to the Saints?

That is what the Palm Beach Post is reporting..and that he INTENDS to visit Miami on Sunday.

Brees will be in Miami on Sunday. If he leaves New Orleans and goes to that meeting, he is ours.

After an overnight visit in New Orleans, Brees will travel to South Florida for his visit with the Dolphins. Another source close to the quarterback said “it’s tough to say†whether Brees’ first choice is Miami or New Orleans, but it appears both teams will get their fair shot.

“He’s still scheduled to get into Miami tomorrow,†the source said. “He’s going to make the New Orleans trip today. They seem anxious to have him in. He’ll leave Birmingham at noon, and he’ll spend the rest of today and part of tomorrow there. Then, he’s headed to Miami.â€Â

all it does is state what Brees' plans were before Saban and Mueller got there.

Am I saying these posters are wrong? no. But they're jumping to conclusions.

Probably and it's not like we're talking about a car sale or something...it's gonna take at least a few hours to discuss everything, etc...
 
that's cool that we get two face to face meetings with him to New Orleans' one. That's pretty aggressive. I wonder if Miami is the only player in the Culpepper sweetstakes and now they have MN on hold?
 
Didn't mean to make it sound like was boomer was wrong. Just noting that after all of his info the Palm Beach story seemed to imply he was still going to N.O. Just trying to get an update from Boomer.

I know what you were doing, but a lot of members here will go crazy and jump to conclusions.

Personally I got a different idea from reading the article in that the Palm Beach was talking about what Brees' plans were
 
I feel there is more. Nick went there to see his doctor as well as Drew. I think Culpepper is waiting and wants to come to the Dolphins. Nick is there to put a little pressue on Drew.
