By clean house does he mean that our veterans are going to be gone? Or just the coaching staff?
 
I believe it. He said at the PC today that he had no intention of walking away. It's obvious that Wayne had seen enough (and perhaps fan reaction sealed it).
 
LEBASTARD -- says that they are going to clean house meaning coaches...Hoping to bring in Pioli Pres and Director of Player Personal...that would bring saban in..

Its a good thing. He put his heart and soul into something he was never going to be good at. Its better that he realizes his limitations and moves on to something at which he can be successful instead of wasting more time on his futile effort to be a good NFL head coach. I don't feel bad for Dave, I feel good for him.
 
I'm pretty sure Ricky is a more unpopular sports figure in South FL then Wanny... Oh well, not that it really matters :tongue:

I agree.

Dave is a good Defensive coach. He probably will do very well at Pittsburgh ala what happened to Pete Carrol. Plus he'll be a lot happier. Dave was a good guy and a decent head coach, he just had that one fatal flaw: he thinks he can win with mediocre to poor QB's. That was his downfall in Chicago and it's likely what got him in trouble here.

The only problem with Wanny resigning is that we will be forced into listening to Lebastard talk about it on espn and other news channels for the next couple days.
