Brennan Marion To Be Waived/Injured

According to Edgar Thompson's twitter page (via DolphinDigest.com).

Tore his ACL again, apparently.

Poor guy cant catch a break. I wish him well.
 
Damn.. feel bad for him. I hope at some point he can be healthy on a team, even if it's not for us.

That sucks. I was pulling for him to at least make the practice squad.

If I read correctly he was putting up crazy numbers in college while homeless, living in a locker room or wherever he could, wondering where his next meal was coming from, dreaming of a chance to make some money at what he is best at in this world. Now he's probably finished. He has my sympathies and I wish him the best- he's going to have a tough road ahead, so with all due respect keep that in mind when you make comments like that.
 
Brennan Marion Tears ACL Again

Dolphins rookie receiver Brennan Marion tore his ACL in practice Tuesday. He'll be placed on injured reserve, ending his season.

This could end Marion's career. The undrafted free agent tore his ACL as a senior at Tulsa and was already short on speed (4.55) and size (5'11/187).

WoW talk about not catching a break. He went from being homeless to playing college ball. Tore his ACL in college. Makes it to the NFL and now tore his ACL again. I feel real bad for this guy.
 
Yeah, we just lost a potential Wildcat weapon. A real shame, I was rooting for the guy to at least make the practice squad.
 
I dont think the guy was gonna be a Wildcat weapon, but it is sad after everything the kid has gone through to make it this far and now gets injured.
 
hopefully he'll have another shot with us next year. if he showed something and was placed on the practice squad we could have lost him. tough break for the kid.
 
I have tore an ACL (among other things), it blows im still not 100 percent almost a year later. Tearing it twice in a year would be devastating to me...it is so much work to rehab and I realize they rehab twice as hard...I couldnt imagine, I hope he can get back to playing condition after this and play somewhere....At least the UFL, he obviously had the tools to play in the NFL before the second tear...Good luck to him
