Jason Cole, of the Miami Herald, reports free agent CB <A href="http://www.kffl.com/player/5765/nfl">Terrell Buckley (Jets) is staying in shape waiting for another opportunity with an NFL team. The Miami Dolphins haven't called despite a need for talent in the secondary. "I haven't heard anything from the Dolphins," said Buckley, who still lives in South Florida. The 14-year veteran is hoping to catch on with a team for another year or two before retiring for good. With Dolphins' nickel CB Reggie Howard continuing to struggle, there has been plenty of talk around the team about finding someone more experienced, such as Buckley or free agent CB Bobby Taylor (Seahawks).
 
Yep, Mueller & Saban, or maybe just Jason Cole, are on the same page as me. I said that we need to bring one of those two in. Bobby Taylor has had the better career but I'm not sure how fast he still is. Buckley is still very quick & did an excellent job for us a couple years ago in the same capacity.
 
I think if we will grab someone it will be him. I have trust in Buckley!
 
Terrell Buckley is one of my all time favorites.

I'd love if we got him back.

Remember that game in 2003 against the Colts when T-Buck intercepted Peyton Manning late, and we had a great chance to win??? :D

...and then remember when Wade Smith got owned by Freeney and Griese fumbled the ball??? :cry:
 
Buckley always seemed to get burned at the worst possible time...

It's gonna be even more sparse in two weeks after we beat the bills. :D


You know the only time the billies show up is in the offseason. That's the only time they have any hope.
 
The words No Contact and Buckley should not be in the same sentence... that guy probably gets flags thrown at him in the aisle at Publix when he goes grocery shopping. He's a penalty/accident waiting to happen.

He's a playmaker

TBuck is a likable guy. Its true that Buckley gets burned once in awhile, but he's also a playmaker. The guy can make interceptions and is capable of returning them for touchdowns.

I say sign the guy for the league minimum and save money by cutting howard.
 
i dont think saban is going to play around with this, if you suck your gone, and howard sucks. id rather bring back jb brown, than watch howard get roasted any more this season
