Hey all, went to the Dolphins' practice today. Saw Ginn, Beck, Satele, and the rest of the crew, but didn't see Daunte out there. He wasn't on a stationary bike either... anyone aware that he wasn't going to be there at all today?

I thought today camp was for special teams drills. Maybe that's why.

Maybe he's tired of wondering what Cam's going to do with him so he needed a day of rest.

Maybe hes doing some boating. Maybe he was renting a truck to bring in all the footballs he has been holding since he got here. Maybe he had to ride his bike inside because everytime he saw an open receiver he had to pick up a ball and stand in one spot.

yah he did all that and still averaged 260+ yards a game behind one of the worst O-Lines in the league.....

in fact, statistically, DOLPHINS O-LINE was second worst in the league this entire past year for pass blocking. only other team that was worse ? oakland

oh yah and his run support? ummm... non -existant, couldn't run the ball against any of the teams we played with c-pep as quarterback. and thats a FACT.

yah youre absolutely right. hes garbage

Other than the sacks Daunte wasn't that bad, but he honestly had a HORRIBLE line and no running game at that point in the season. The thing is, he had a better TD/INT ratio, a whole more yard per attempt, and 260 yards per game. Better stats than the completely healthy #2 QB we had (who also had a running game a lot). Give dude another chance. If he isn't healthy by training camp then dump him. I'm not giving up on Culpepper until he is officially cut or sucks this season.

I like your Support for him. I dont know whether Culpep is going to be around next season but you back your corner. :goodpost:

Could be that the Dolphins hired a ballboy and they no longer need Daunte's services.

Okay, I am seriously wondering what Daunte did to warrant even a fraction of the hate people has towards him. He's working his *** off just so he could start for this team and he has been a class act throughout this whole situation.

Probably mad that Saban signed him instead of Brees. But of course that's not DC's fault. Let's face it, everyone is going to be hostile to whoever it is in there until we find the next Marino.
