Is he going to beat out Pennington, Henne, or White? No. Barring major injury Longshore will be gone as quick as he arrives. Even if there is an injury, John Beck stands a greater chance of sticking around.
 
Longshore will not get a contract offer. You can bank on it. It is a rookie mini camp this weekend, so that means guys like Pennington, Henne and Beck will not be there. Other then White, there was no other QB going to be there. He is just a camp body to help throw passes this weekend.
 
Although I don't think Beck is going to work out here... I distinctly remember how people were clamoring for him to start for that disasterous season. we put him behind a line that NO QB would've succeeded behind. The guy was already a little immature IMO.. that totally destroyed any NFL accumen he truly may have had.

Still waiting for that trade that will turn him into a late rd draft pick.
 
Maybe they are bringing in Longshore to be another variation of the Wildcat near the goal-line where they could have an option of him plowing up the middle.
