MERGED: Carl Peterson Headed To Miami?/Already in fold?

Didn't see it posted on here, I hope these rumors are ended quick. If Miami is bounced out of the playoffs today this needs to be the 1st order of biz.

Personally I think there is truth to these rumors.

Carl Peterson to Miami

The just recently fired KC GM is tight with Steven Ross and worked with Ross in the USFL as the GM of Ross's team. And according to Adam Schefter of NFL Network, Ross wants him on board in Miami in some capacity.

Why not just tell Parcells and Ireland to pack up their office!

Peterson has not been successful for what 4 decades. He needs to retire and get out of the NFL. I cannot imagine anyone being dumb enough to force a proven winner in BP out and put someone like Peterson in.

Read that rumor. It makes zero sense at all. Why on God's green earth would Ross hire Peterson to force out Parcells? Al he'd have to do is ask Parcells to go, and, BP would go. There is no advantage to Ross doing that. This is just BS, IMO.

Man these rumours will not quit... I just cannot imagine Ross (or any owner for that matter) excited to push somebody out the door who is the architect of a record breaking turnaround. It does not make any sense whatsoever... If there is any truth to this stuff it would have to come from BP's side IMO... Really I cannot imagine Ross being that stupid.

Why does this have to be a big deal now. The only thing that should matter is the Dolphins and the playoffs. IMHO everybody involved is a selfish *** for not dispelling all of this unless there is truth to it. The Dolphins do not need this now.
