MERGED: Channel 7 video - Wright crying

And MikeO wonders why half this site has him on ignore......

and you think I care! :rofl3:

Don't get me wrong. If he did cry, and I was there, I'd be like, "what the hell?" and maybe laugh at him... well, from afar.

But to say he lost all respect, and his career is over is just imbecilic.

What did Wright do to get called out by Saban???? anybody know?

Honestly, I was there and I have no idea. He didn't do anything completely off that I saw... Maybe lined up wrong or said some things to the O-line that Saban didn't approve of?

Oh, wow, he cries! Someone get the media! This man's a bust!

What kind of crap is that? Big deal! He cried! Who hasn't cried before?! Maybe it's a good thing he cried. That way we know he has a passion for the game.

He will never have the respect of his teammates if this is true. Remember Tim Couch when he started crying?

This kids career is shot in Miami if this gets blown up to a big story. We just wasted a 5th round pick it looks like.

WOW...thats the quickest rush to judgement yet!! Are you for freakin real? A close friend of mine cry's when he gets real pissed..and my friend....if he is crying...you dont want to be on the recieveing end of his wrath. So take it for whats its worth. Il judge him on his playing..not his...crying.

Get used to it real fast.

He posts like that all the time.

This is way over-reacting. You gotta realize several factors: 1) He's basically a junior in college - so he's just a kid; 2) He's going through the most physically demanding practices of his life; 3) He's already shown some really good skills from several reports and has shown ability to beat even starters on the OL.

What Saban did was likely to just toughen him up. His reaction illustrates that he needs to toughen up and thicken his skin. The vets will help the kid out and he'll still be a player. He's got a lot of growing up to do. Saban and most of the fans here knew this to begin with.

Remember, this kid is NEXT YEAR'S 5th Round pick. I guarantee he'll be better than a 5th round pick in next year's training camp. No way can you say this was a waste b/c of this one incident!

I bet wright will jump off a bridge if asked by saban the rest of his career.

You're opinions are just absolutely ridiculous sometimes.

This is one of those times.

Agreed, we are talking about 19/20 year old kid here, he's hardly a man yet, getting reamed by Saban would have to shake him up this early in camp.

Everybody handles things differently as well, I wouldn't write the kid off just yet.

Seems like maybe he was slacking off during wind sprints.
thx for the update. Wright had better learn the hard way by the sound of it. I still think its kinda early to get on the kids back regarding comments ive just read. Bust? hmmmmm......whats that all about? Manuel Wright may or may not have cried but jeez!...come on lets not make a song and dance out of this. Wright is the possible future at DT for us and if he gets toughened up mentally by getting a telling off then im for it and it will do him good but dont get on the rookies back cos he may not be as emotionally tough as other players. Hopefully JT, Zack, Seau or another vet will give Manny some kind words.
