MERGED: Channel 7 video - Wright crying

sorry i have no link only thing i can tell you is if you live in the South Florida area ( Dade, Broward, Palm Beach) watch channel 6 nbc news w/ Joe Rose he reported it. Now i started this story because thats what Rose reported and had the FILM to back it up. I was also at Camp today and saw Saban reeming him out, but defintley was too far to notice a cry. The FILM says it all watch at 11:00 tonight or surf the web fro NBC 6 new video

When you get reamed in front of a crowd of people and your put on the spot in front of all these people that you're trying to impress, I could see how it could make you emotional. I glad that his emotions led him to cry as opposed to knocking Saban in the mouth (which could be the type of reaction you get from some people when they are put in that spot). Now he's cleansed and good to go I hope.

you might not give up on him, but will his teammates??? This isn't romper room. This is the NFL and crying just isn't allowed.

I agree that players should be able to take criticism like a man but players cry in the NFL all the time. I remember J.T crying after the meltdown on monday night against NYJ. It happens a lot in the playoffs when a team has put their tears and sweat into a season only to come up short. It happens. It shows they have emotion.

In dealings with ex-players and workings with them that is the mentality players have. They have spent time in an NFL Lockeroom and they know what will get over and what won't get over. Just look at Tim Couch in Cleveland. Once he cried, the entire Browns lockeroom distanced themselves from him and he was gone a month or so later. Joe Rose has a clue as to the reaction it might draw.
The Browns distanced themselves from him because he never lived up to the hype. Manuel is a young kid with feelings and the fact of the matter might be that he cries when he gets angry(as I do sometimes)there is nothing wrong with crying. I just think the players are adults and they understand the situation better than any of us, I'm sure the only thing they care about is winning and if Manny is going to help them do that. Crying has nothing to do with respect, going out working your A@@ off and having the players backs, if you don't do that then you might lose their respect.

I was once fortunate enough to be invited to the Keuchenburg family reunion in Indiana and heard an interesting story.(so were the required song and dance rookie shows) This story was told to me by Bob's brother "Weezey" (Rudy) who played for the Bears. Bob was playing on some minor league team, in Chicago I think, when he got the phone call from the Dolphins. He made the team and in his first start was absolutely humiliated on the field by Bubba Smith. He said that back in the locker romm after the game angry and humiliated Bob cried like a baby, and it was there, on that bench that he decided to become an NFL football player. History speaks to the results of that decision. This was an "old school locker room" MikeO, and they didn't run HIM out.

Ricky don't care about much these days except getting rid of that $8.6 mill judgement against him.

THats fine with me I'm sure that 30-40% of players play the game for the money.
