He's going to be shedding tears when an OL gets in his face and talks crap.

I hope they get a real nice close-up.

THats fine with me I'm sure that 30-40% of players play the game for the money.

exactly. Im not knocking him for it. And its probably like 80-90% are in the game for the money.

you cannot cry and expect to have the respect of your teammates and live in an NFL Lockerroom.

No but you can quit on them to go smoke pot or if your really froggy smack your wife. Respect in the locker room is relative to one thing. Wins.

I bet he could kick the **** out of 80% of that team. I doubt anyone says **** to him. Besides who gives a flying kcuf. Hes a kid and hes emotional. It shows he cares what the coach thinks , which is more than I can say for alot of these prima donna asshats.

Look at his avatar. Dont take Mike too seriously, hes just trying to get a rise out of people, like his avatar and hero, triumph the insult comic dog.

I saw the video a few time on local TV. Wright came out to the field without his pads. Saban dressed him down and pointed to his head as if saying "You have to think." Seems like he was crying and wiped his eyes twice. Could have been sweat??? It is very hot here it feels like triple digits.

Either way the kid doesn't need the national humiliation and hopefully the national media doesn't pickup on this. Even if they do this will blow over after the team razzes him about it. . :)

eh, cut the kid a little slack. he's extremely immature and just got publically humiliated. One of the older leaders on the team (Jason Taylor) should pull the kid aside and tell him to turn the tears into anger, then channel the anger. That worked for me when I was in pop warner.

Kid with that size/speed ratio and you add an angry disposition and he may just turn into a player.

Man we sure have the extremes at the DT spot - aging vet (Traylor), Injured but bood when healthy (Chester), Young and immature (Wright), young and immature (Vickerson).

Wright and Vickerson are intriguing because together that's some serious size (heighth and wieght).

Let the kid lick his wounds and come back with fire. I'm sure that's what Saban is trying to do. Light a fire under him...

it's ignorant to say that because he cried he was a wasted pick. after 3 practices? wow that's just amazing

I think all of you that called him a bitc^, and compared him to Underwood need to step back and look at yourselves. You all think that this is some sort of game and we can look at these MEN like they are some sort of entertainment. You all on one hand, sit back and say that you are die hard Finfans and would die for the team, etc........., well think that those that bring you so much joy feel the same. If Manuel Wright started crying, I think that you should appreciate it. He has passion, he wants to succeed, whatever he may be feeling. Saban looks at you and stops practice to make an example out of you, you would cry to. I bet you the point got across to him and he will change whatever he got yelled at. Its all part of training camp, making sure those things dont happen when they count.

Everybody needs to keep their remarks to themselves and stop throwing your two cents in about these guys' personal lives. I, for one, like to hear that Manny is playing above anticipated, and now the fact that he is crying, shows that he really has emotion for what he is trying to get done. So all that call names and think that your two cents are worth just that, two cents, sit back and keep your stupid remarks to yourselves.

Finally some maturity around here :rawk:
