:rofl3: That's what I was thinking.... Too funny!!

Speaking of avatars, what is that growth on the side of the pink dolphin's head, Losman? Looks like it could be cancerous. Might what to get that looked at...
I thought it was Gorbachev... :rofl3:

Man...I feel bad for the kid...kind of embarrassed for him.

That sucks but I hope he turns things around.

He's got potential...if he can get his head straight...I think he could be a dominating DT in the future.

Go Manny...GO FINS!!!

He will never have the respect of his teammates if this is true. Remember Tim Couch when he started crying?

This kids career is shot in Miami if this gets blown up to a big story. We just wasted a 5th round pick it looks like.

Not ture. All he has to is bust some people in the mouth in practice and he will be fine. IF someone makes fun of him, he should take it out on whoever lines up in fromt of him, and make it clear that if the jokes keep coming, someone will pay. IF I were him, just to get back at saban I would knock the crap out of one of the potential starting QB's (feeley) or Frerotte) and wisper in thier ear "that's for your head coach punk" Which would probable get him ripped again by saban but at least he would have taken his anger out on someone.

How come no one is mentioning his belly girdle??

THAT is he funny part....

where can i get one of those?? :hmmm:

knock the crap out of your starting QB. That will probably get you blackballed out of the league for, I don't know FOREVER! :shakeno:

The Sun-Sentinel as an article about Wright.

http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/...ul27,0,5677955.story?coll=sfla-dolphins-front

Wright was unavailable for comment, but agent Peter Schaffer said he spoke with him about the situation.

"Manny said there was a misunderstanding and that Coach Saban went in after practice and said he was sorry he yelled," Schaffer said. "Manny said he was sorry, too, and they agreed to move forward. Coach Saban thinks he has a very bright future, and Manny will do anything to become a valuable part of this team.

"People forget that Manny is 21 years old and this is his first training camp. He didn't get the benefit from having an offseason or minicamp [with the Dolphins]. He has a lot being thrown at him. I'm sure Manny isn't the first player to get yelled at in practice, and I'm sure he won't be the last."

No it wont.

No it won't. I don't mean hurt him or anything, just knock him down and let him know you're pissed is all I'm saying. And to get to the QB you have to first beat the man in front of you so the coaches should be focused on that part as opposed to a little contact with the QB (at least the defensive coaches anyway) And just for the record, I have never been a fan of these soft azz rules of trying to protect the QB and WR's, I think it girly's up the game. These guy's are men just like the rest of the team and why should they be exempt from contact or protected? They should learn how to protect themselves. A good WR and QB hardly ever takes hard hits. Marino was very good at getting rid of the ball, and you never see marvin harrison take a big hit. Leave it up to the players to protect themselves, not some girly rule.

Well said. Ive just got in and read this. What did Wright do? Miss a play or what?

I heard he showed up on the field in nothing but a t-shirt and shorts. The rest of the team was in pads & unis.

Don't you think the equipment manager or someone should have told him to pad up ?

MikeO, you were really too hard on the kid. And this is what he is, a kid....just barely 21.

I really didn't think it was that big a deal, but I was watching my local CBS-2 L.A. and they showed Wright walking back to the locker room wiping tears from his eyes.Making jokes about it.

I bet in the final analysis, Wright turns out to be the biggest steal yet.

I don't know if u can search the web for the video but it's embarrasing. Kind of feel bad for the kid

Me too. Bad situation. But really, not putting on pads for a full pad practice? Not very smart. Either you're hurt and cannot practice, in which case coaches are made aware, or you practice.
