Mike Sherman just became free for Miami.

Also Winston Moss I guess had a HORRIBLE interview in Oakland. He might be free to be the Fins defensive coordinator now
 
Frees up Tom Clements & Mike Sherman to join #Dolphins, BOTH have been reported to likely join Philbin's staff in Miami.
 
Wow, that is actually a pretty big hire for the Buccaneers. Whether he works out or not, he is going to create some big initial buzz.

I don't think Clements is going to leave the Packers. I think he will be named the Packers OC. I do see Sherman as a good possibility to join the staff if Philbin wants him.
 
Chip Kelly has a lot of work to do. I think he is over his head, but who cares!

Does Sherman have the potential to be a good OC? What is his offensive style like? I'm not to familiar with the guy

He certainly does have potential to be a good OC. He was the Packers head coach for 6 seasons and they posted big offensive numbers. He was the Texans OC for one year and took them from a 28th ranked offense to 14th. Then he became the Texas A&M head coach for 4 seasons. I think he would be a tremendous hire as OC, especially if the Buccaneers are going to pass on him as head coach.

Now, KGW-TV in Portland reports that Oregon coach Chip Kelly is close to becoming the coach of the Buccaneers.
“Kelly is in the process of finalizing a deal that would make him the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers,” Michael Berk of KGW Sports writes. “A source close to the situation said Kelly will make the jump to the NFL if he can come to terms on a contract.”
Look for Kelly and the Bucs to deny it until the Bucs can supply Kelly as the coach of the team. Otherwise, Kelly’s incoming recruits will face a barrage from Oregon’s competitors regarding the possibility that Kelly won’t be the coach when the new class of players start their second year with the school.

This leaves mike sherman available for OC

But, as this relates to the Dolphins, if Philbin feels Sherman can run his offense best, then great.

As for the Bucs, this could be a good hire or an epic fail. I'm kind of leaning towards the latter, but it'll be interesting to see. I'm just glad to see Kelly could be leaving Eugene

sherman and philbin worked together in GB and sherman is already a strong candidate to be philbins OC, mort said clements is staying in GB
 
I'd be 100% fine with that if it happens. I just don't want Daboll back.
