Ricky had around a 3.5 yd. per carry last year yet he was a phenomenal back..... give him a labotamy and he still would be.... back to Gordon, give Gordon a shot before trashing him. He hasn't even had a shot yet.

What I like is the way SLASH gets extra yards after he is hit.I was reviewing highlights of him as a Ram and on one run there wasnt much of a hole but he lowered one of his shoulders and kinda twisted into the endzone.

everytime someone says SLASH it reminds me of Kordell Stewart. I say stick with his old NN FLASH.

One more comment on the 3.8 ypc for Gordon. I was at nfl.com looking at Bengals stats. Corey Dillon had 3.9 ypc last year. So give it a rest, please. If for some reason Gordon ends up being a bust then we're no worse off than we were 2 weeks ago. We'll have a new coach next year (and maybe Maurice Clarrett in our backfield)

Im sure Ricky has killed enough brain cells from smoking weed that a lobotamy would have no effect. Basically, you would just be disconnecting two lumps of burned out grey matter.

Cinci should be a good test for us / Gordon

Cinci is going to be a tough team to play, however we SHOULD be able to move the ball against their defense. This will be a great game for our offense to gain cohesion because the following week WE NEED TO BE READY FOR THE PATS. Should be fun. I have faith in AJ and his abilities. I dont need to have faith to know that Gordon should get the job done. Our defense should be able to hold the offense well.

Lamar Gordon reminds me of the Lamar Smith in his prime in 2000. A hard-running player who has decent speed and will work his *** off to get extra yards. His personality is awesome. He already made himself home in our team... has the heart of Lamar Smith as well. Better than "soft-spoken weed-smokin" Ricky. I think he will get better and better as the season goes on. With how tough the AFC is, Playoffs are going to be tough... BUT NOT UNFEASIBLE!!!!!!!!!! It all depends on how well our offense gels together.
