Our defense

Just wondering...Myself, I can't decide; but would we have been better off with Bates or not? Last year notwithstanding of course since we had so many injuries to key players. Bates took alot of heat for his vanilla, predictable defensive schemes. However, as predictable as they were, they were also effective. Our current defense doesn't seem as good, IMO. Any thoughts??

You need speedy LBs so that the blitzes work.
 
Linehan is an idiot. Defense is overblitzing. stupid

Really really stupid. Our coaching is becoming a defecit.
 
there is something terribly wrong with this team , but i am wondering if nick is positioning for a better draft posistion? right now i am thinking we better do somthing.
 
We are'nt over blitzing....the issue is Seau has been caught a few times pinching down and Vick has gotten a free corner.

Plus J.T. just has no burst right now....he would have buried Vick on that one play if he was 100%.

Did you miss last week?

Our defense will be fine. We are in between right now personal wise. When Saban has more of his guys (this upcoming draft will be HEAVY on defense) we'll be a top 5 unit.

How about we keep running the ball with Ronnie hes are guy that has been running over everyone for the last 3 weeks Give him the rock. Not Gus

he could have a 150 yd game if we give it to him enough

I'm sure Linehan will....he has to run three more end arounds first.
 
Giving him the ball is like the only thing getting me excited. Gus's incomplete passes isn't doing anything.
