Terrible loss, this certainly won't help our secondary but I am interested to see Vontae Davis. I'm not sure if he'll move up to #2 or be nickel behind Nate Jones. One thing for sure though is that Sean Smith is now our #1. It will be interesting to see how they both develop the rest of the year.

It isn't as if Will Allen was providing shut down coverage. Not as good as he was in 2008.
Oh, no. Now who will we get to fall down in coverage every time a receiver changes direction slightly? I thought he had turned a corner last year, but he's just back to the guy who looks good on paper and somehow cant ever keep his footing on the field of play. I'm not necessarily saying the rookies will do so much better, but it isn't so horrible that we see what they can do.
I'd almost say we're better off if Wilson meets the same fate, but seeing as he never changes direction it would be pretty difficult to tear an ACL.

A bittersweet moment. Will is a good corner and will be missed but Vontae is the rookie hear and it'll be nice to see him get some PT. He'll have his fair share of bad plays but since this isn't "our year" it's good to get him in there and get him prepared to be a shutdown corner.
