DC new contract...anyone see it? espn

they just talked about DC"s salarya dn the new one on espn...waht did they say? i think i saw the new one was 7 mill and 1 mill instead of 6 and 2 or osmething...anyone confirm this and say the rest? thanks.

SWEET money for Culpepper

$7 mil bonus and only 1 mil in base salary? Considering the money we saved on Brees and what we would have paid a 2nd round pick, I am freaking thrilled.

Dolphins | Saban hopes Culpepper will be ready for opener
Wed, 15 Mar 2006 14:15:28 -0800

Miami Dolphins head coach Nick Saban said that the team hopes to have QB Daunte Culpepper (knee) ready for the 2006 regular season opener. "We're going to manage that on a day-to-day, week-to-week basis, working in conjunction with the doctors, his physical therapist, our people," said Saban. "I don't think it's an unrealistic circumstance to think that there's a great possibility that he will, but we're going to work through it and at no time and under no circumstance will we put him at risk of re-injury because he's not ready to be there."

scenaria, you should add 'head' to your sig, ala:

He will be the most recognizable quarterback to lead the Dolphins since Dan Marino retired in 1999 -- the year Culpepper was drafted 11th overall by the Vikings.
''They'll really like him in Miami,'' said Phillip Yancey, Culpepper's football coach at Ocala's Vanguard High School. ``He's a great person. And trust me, if he were a turd head, all I'd say is he's a great football player. I just wish he'd return my golf clubs.''
