"Culpepper also said that he wasn't given a fair opportunity to win the starting job even before the April draft because of "established relationships." He was obviously referring to Cameron's long-standing connections with quarterbacks Cleo Lemon and Green."

So say he gets traded to Jacksonville, will Culpepper feel the same way regarding this quote if he be given an opportunity at QB because of his already "established relationship" with Mike Tice who is an assistant HC there...Gimme a break...Now I'm losing respect for this guy. What a character.

This is why players NEED agents.. To protect them from themselves.

He dneeds a good shot somewhere.. If I were him I wouldnt say anything in the media.

If he is vowing to nix any trade, I want the Dolphins just to keep him until just before the season starts. He made the contract, he should have put a no trade clause in it, or restructured it. Losing any respect I had for the guy.

This happens everytime a high profile player leaves a team. Fans make excuses to hate him and why he is a horrible person. I'm still waiting for the 'Daunte kicks puppies' thread.

The new staff has treated him like dirt, and that's all I really have to say about this.

You're predicting the future. How do you know thats what Culpepper will do? I actually agree that if he's traded or let go, he really didn't get a chance to compete when healthy.

im not predicting anything...if you could comprehend my thread its a, "what if" scenario...I dont remember saying, "So when he gets".

I love how you can say they treated him like dirt...with absolutely nothing to back it up other than "ooo, he isn't being given a chance to start". Boohoo. The guy lied to the organization, forced himself onto the field by saying he's healthy when in reality he did not give us the best chance to win and he knew it.

What has he done for Miami that makes him so untouchable that he needs an oppurtunity to compete when healthy?

He said he was healthy and ready to start opening day last year, we gave that to him, now we're stuck here twiddling our thumbs waiting for him to "get healthy" so he can compete?

Don't think so.

Look..

You knew that the chance to compete for the qb position was never happening. DC was the winning card from Satan. He is not her anymore. Why Cam will play the same hand of Satan? GO DOLPHINS!!:ninja:

Whats the excuse? Im not making up any excuses, those words came right from the horses mouth. If anything, Daunte should be more careful and cautious of what he says...(I dont hate him, and I supported him when he was brought here)

Duante is really hurting himself here. What team is going to want him when they know he won't be happy being a back-up or being paid like one. Does he really think someone is going to pay him 5 Mil this year? No matter where he ends up, he likely won't get what he thinks he's worth. He needs an agent big time!!:D

This is how I feel. If I were Daunte I'd do everything in my power to screw the Dolphins too.

I dont really care who treated who like what. Im not a Daunte hater, nor supporter (Anymore) but why would you want anyone to screw the dolphins. Are you saying are you a Daunte fan or a Dolphins fan?
