Sorry if this has been posted but the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL have added Daunte Culpepper to their negotiation list. CFL teams will often times do this when an NFL players career is in question. It was the first step that Toronto took in acquiring Ricky....so who knows, but I'll be honest, I love Canada don't get me wrong, but I would never wish the city of Winnipeg on anyone. Miami to Winnipeg.....that would be rough.

After all the "Ricky will destroy the CFL" talk last year I can't wait for what some of you would predict Daunte would do in the CFL....

Ahhhh!!! Winnipeg sucks!!! I am from Regina so I have to hate them more then your tipical CFL fan. C-Pep will never get to the CFL though.
 
If he heals i think Cpep will fare well in the cfl. cfl is very pass oriented, which is why ricky did not do so well. Cpep`s stlye of play will excell in the cfl, imo.

I agree 100%, I just dont think that C-Pep will get to the CFL before an NFL team picks him up. I would love to see him go to Sask though not Winnipeg.

Ricky didn't do well because he was injured half his season, and TO's OC was not smart enough to use the weapons he had. but a 5.4 average is very well in the CFL. If Ricky continued for a couple seasons in teh CFL he would destroy it.

And as mentioned CFL being pass dominated, Pepp woudl fare really well there. The pass rush isn't as dominating and more open room for receivers. Pepp's lack of accuracy wouldn't hinder him as much and his sheer arm power would gain lots of yards.

However i don't see him going to the CFL, living in Calgary it would be nice if Cal added him to their list but looks like Winterpeg beat them to the punch.

Cool man i'm from Regina as well...nice to see some fellow fin fans in the city!!

And the Bombers are out to lunch on this one...They're known to have a complete joke for a neg list though.

With that being said....The Riders did have Vince Young at one point...

Yea,immobile QB's with long releases do real good in the CFL.
 
I think the CFL would be too rough for Daunte.

He should just find another line of work.
