MERGED: Daniel Thomas has season-ending ankle injury

Jamar Taylor went 54th & Eddie Lacy went 61st.

Oh, what could have been.

I'd love Phins to draft Storm Johnson next year. Play Gill got to see what he has.

He's better than Mike Gillislee, but that is like saying that Poison was a better band than Ratt.

Also, his name is annoying to spell and say. And "35" is a crappy number.

I'm a Gator, by the way, so it's not like I hate him because he went to UF. And he seems like a nice guy. But this is all going to get old fast.

There is no way Poison was better than Ratt. Poison's lineup included CC Deville.

Hope this is good bye forever for Daniel Thomas. 2nd Round Bust. But I will enjoy the memories, untimely fumbles, alway falling backwards, the inability to pick up a yard. "The Career" long run of 28 yards. Please take out the trash dude. Another mediocre bust, but at least he did not dance behind the line like Reggie.
You left out his 1.7 CPC (Concussions Per Carry)

To select Danielle in the 2nd round (62), Ireland gave up Miami's 3rd rounder (79), 5th (146), and 7th (217). That's how hot his pants were for this tremendous, game-changing talent.

BTW, some of us can differentiate between being glad a player is injured and simply being glad he's played his last game for our team. I'm not happy he got hurt, but I sure am glad he exposes Jeff Ireland just that much more as the fraud that he is.

Wasn't referring to that point of view. I was referring to those who actually hoped the injury was bad enough that he would be done for the year. Personally, I would prefer if we weren't stuck with him as an option in the first place.

Well said Dude.

Hopefully next year we can actually draft a RB that has talent. Major weak link is the running game.
Draft some stud, keep Miller, pick up a veteran RB.
Thomas has been nothing but hot garbage, another fantastic pick by the draft guru Jeff Ireland
I really can't believe this guy still has a job.

Drafting RB that clock 4.7 is a recipe for disaster..

who is out there in free agency that we might take a look at? any veterans with tread on the tire? i'm not looking forward to the lamar miller, marcus thigpen, mike gillislee show...

This is why you do not draft RBs in the 2nd round unless they are special. DT is not special. Chalk it up to another opportunity cost (or lost) for the Dolphins. Thanks Jeff.
