Darrell Jackson was just released from San Fran and even though he wasnt too productive there, I think he would be a good number 3 WR. He was a 1000 yard receiver for 3 of his 7 years in Seattle. Of course, this would all depend on his asking price but still worth the look.

wouldnt mind bring him in, would be a solid #3, considering he is far too inconsistant to be a threat at the #1 or #2 spot. could use the veteran experience too.

lets sign everyone that is unhappy or released !

No one is saying we should sign everyone. When you're a rebuilding team and you need depth at every position, you take a look at every player who is released and see if he would be a good fit. Wish you could understand that.

I think we're done for now....after the draft then we might go after somebody depending on how the draft went.

Ozzy rules!!

This thread has plenty of merit. D. Jackson is a talented guy that if he could be had on the cheap would be a great guy go bring on board. Our WR corps is pretty starving right now. Ginn will be good, but I don't see him truly blossoming until year three.

lol at the #3 talk. D-Jack is a legit #1 wr and would not come to miami to come off the bench...especially with philly and minnesota interested in bring him in to be their top wideout.

In order to be a number 1 WR you have to play like a number 1 WR. Jackson has not recently and no one in this league will sign him to be a number 1. Just look at his stats. At best, he would compete with Wilford.

Keep in mind San Francisco didnt have much stability at the QB position last year. His dropoff in numbers isn't entirely his fault. He's talented, he's a good vet, he has no off the field issues. At a decent price he's DEFINATELY a good idea for this team. Ginn/Wilford (with no depth) is NOT a very good roster

I really wanted Bryant Johnson, he's the big physical receiver that we so desperately need. How ironic the team that signed him is the team that released D Jax

you must be looking Watching a Diffrent WR then Ever body else there is no way that he could be a #1 WR on our team or any other team for that matter

Phin fans discredit WR's as "dropping way too many passes" after one drop. They would burn Jackson in effigy if he were here.

That being said, I don't think he is much of an upgrade over what we have already. He'd cost a bit too much for depth alone.
