We all knew this was coming.

I must say the impatience the organization displayed in both encouraging me to rush back on the field last year and then rushing me out the door this year is disappointing. However, I understand that they have the right to make that business decision. It is now my turn to make some decisions.

The Dolphins have given me permission to speak to other teams. If I am not released then I plan on fully participating in this weeks Mini-camp.

This could get ugly quickly.

excuse me Dante, but please watch the doorknob.

DONT ACT LIKE YOU DIDNT GET PAID. Rushed you on the field.

Used to think he was class act too. His agent has a fool for a client ;)

if it gets ugly it wont be on the organizations side. Mueller and Cameron have already proven they dont like to use the media in negotiations..

That being said... I think Cpep is classier than to whine like Green did.

He is a class act. He wants to be released. So what? What would you have done if your team all of a sudden told you that your services are no longer wanted, especially after he was told he'll have a chance to compete. I would have done the same thing.

i think that his been a little punck, b-cause if his traded at least he know's that his going to a team that want's him, but he want's to be release so the dolphins dont get nothing for him, like if the phins didnt waste a 2 round pick for him so he can use a bike for one year down here, the least he can do is let us trade him so we can get something back.

Duante is already whinning. He was whinng before the draft and he was whinning when he had the argument with Saban cause he didnt want to get benched... You guys take every chance to pick on Green.

BTW Duante is the Paris Hilton of football. He is a media whore

You guys? Dont label me man.. Dont dig it at all..

besides... if you read most of my threads.. I am in favour of Green and not Cpep.

Doesnt mean green still didnt whine... and as you well corrected me... Daunte is.

This is all dramatic. I hope he is in camp tomorrow, practices with the team, talks to Green, competes some, and realizes that he could still start if he stops crying to the media every time the sky clouds up.

The team already planned to either trade him or release him anyway. It wouldn't of mattered if he kept his mouth shut or not. I don't seeing anything particularly wrong with this, Culpepper or not.

Those comments are uncalled for. Everything was fine until Daunte began criticizing the organization. He has every right to demand out of Miami, nobody is going to blame him for that. But the Dolphins have been more than patient with Daunte. Even Nick Saban, who I can safely assume none of us like very much at this point, was not to blame. Every single interview with Daunte last offseason was a carbon copy of his first one - I will be ready, Im working, Im feeling great, I will be the QB come opening day... Nowhere then did he complain about feeling "rushed". You didnt see him going easy on his leg, nor did you see Coach Saban pushing him to practice. Give me a break. The guy pushed himself, and while the team may have been better off holding him out a little longer, I would have to assume they were going on his word on his own condition as well as Dr. Andrews' recommendations.

As for Cam's patience, you have got to be kidding me. Daunte had more surgery midseason, and we are now in June. Are you telling me that this team was supposed to wait until after the offseason program is complete to make a determination about their starting quarterback, arguably the most important position on the team? Im surprised this lasted as long as it did, as I think its been pretty evident for a couple weeks that his health was going to be a lingering concern. Cam and the Dolphins have every right to move on.

Some pretty stupid comments by a man that really has worn out his welcome here.

Let's talk about who was promised what..........and apparently the only promise that is of significance is the promise that Daunte would be able to compete - which wasn't even the promise, it was he was told he wouldn't be "evaluated" until he was "healthy." And yet here we have Trent Green, who was promised he would be traded swiftly and conviently to a team he was able to negotiate with and then the Chiefs stubbornly held out on him. How bout that promise getting broken?

daunte is a class act! He's not a media whore. he did everything asked of him this year, and last year. he just doesnt fit our system. daunte last year by the way played the same way the year before. i dont think the injury played much in the decision. it was an excuse! he was sacked 21 times last year in 4 games right? well, he was sacked 46 times in his great season with the vikings in 2004. daunte is go big or go home type of player. He needs to go play for the lions. He will then once again be successful
