I would be completely amazed if Cam / Randy actually let Daunte compete. (edited)

That's the way it is sounding to me, and also what I have been saying for a long time now. If DC is healthy and ready to go, we would be foolish to cut him before we see what he's got. ESPECIALLY on a team that has had such poor QB play in recent years.
 
Barring any setback, I think Daunte will win it. If Beck wins that competition, then he damn sure is ready.
 
There were reports that Saban and Daunte got into it last year when he was benched. Expect Cam and Daunte to do the same if Green comes in here and wins the job.

I truly believe that we will have Green or Culpepper, not both.

Yep. I'm with you too. If we do get Trent, I hope we don't just cut Culpepper. Let them all battle it out and see who wins out.

Did you watch ANY of the games where he played last year?

If Jason & Porter are rushing and Zach is dropping back do you REALLY believe that Daunte will beat out Lemon much less Green?

The main thing is not giving way more then Green is worth. I say give them a 6th and if he starts more then half the games then they get a 5th. Why the hell should we give up a 5th round pick for someone to teach a rookie how to hold a clipboard and where to go to eat at when on the road.
