If you were suprised by the outcome of today's game then I don't know what to tell you. WAKE UP PEOPLE WE ARE NOT THAT GOOD OF A FOOTBALL TEAM AND NEVER REALLY WERE. Wow that feels good to get off my chest even though I have said it for weeks.

This team not only has the problems associated with new players learning the system but the same issue still plagues this team that has for years. They have no heart whatsoever. Some guys play their hearts out while a bunch of others just show up and do whatever. The team gets pissed when it is losing and just gives up. It's evident with terrible tackling, blown assignments, etc.

Our o-line is attrocious. I thought "turnstyle" wade smith was playing out there again . How in the heck and you have any continuity on offense when every team is gonna blitz the crap out of you, knowing all well that you cannot defend it....

How can you guys sit here and blame culpepper. Sure did he throw some dumb throws early in the year, yes. However he is still learning and gelling. I saw a much better DC today and that can be expected as he becomes acclimated to the dolphins. Actually I thought he played very well today and the only miss I can remember is the deep ball to chambers that ended up out of bounds because he threw it a tad off. Had he kept it in bounds that may have gone for 6 but then again ALOT of qb's do that. Everyone needs to stop with this DC is the reaosn why we are losing....

Randy mcmichael needs to be benched. His play is horrible. Chris chambers needs to start becoming the dominant wideout and stop dissapearing when we need him the most. Booker needs to start making the easy catches. The only consistent guy so far has been welker IMO and ronnie brown. I was somewhat down on brown for the first few weeks but I guess he is making the best of a really bad o-line situation.

Last but not least we have our defense. The jekyl and hyde of the team. THe guys that for some reason are dominant one minute and then completely give up the rest. We have little to no pass rush and given our depth that should NOT be an issue. Our secondary has terrible time covering guys even though will allen did play a good game today for 3 quarters. This has been the issue with our team forever, we cannot finish. Football is 60 minutes, not 45. I guess this can be expected when you have a completly new secondary but when the gel it's gonna be too late for this season.

I for one have seen some good things with our offense though. DC I thought managed the game well but it's the stupid penalties and mental mistakes that are killing drives. We can drive but cannot put it into the endzone. That will fix itself in time. However IMO, it all goes back to what I said before, this "woe is me" mentality that has plagued us forever still is on this team. I have no clue if its a few players or what it is but we have no leaders on this team. Everthing has to be scripted for us to have a good game. Maybe these guys just dont' get it...it's time to draft or bring in some free agents who are proven at key positions instead of resting on guys that would be backups from other team. Seems we like to do that alot and its killing us....

Get off the DC stuff. Last time I looked he didn't give up a huge play on an underthrown ball to Andre Johnson or miss recovering an easy onside kick that squirted through our guys hands. Great teams capitalize on those things...obviously it says alot of where we are..

wrong. Thanks for wasting 10 minutes of your life stringing that drivel together.

I 2nd that spiral, Culpepper is clueless out there.

yeah and he was the one that dropped passes...oh wait that was booker. He was the one that gave up the td pass and long underthrown ball to andre johnson. Oh and wait he also is the guy that whiffs on the o-line all the time allowing the nfl's leading sack total. Or what he also pounced on that easy to recover onside kick and let it go through his hands. Yeah that is right. You people need to wake up or go back to the teams that you liked before you jumped on the DC bandwagon...

Bottom line is that the whole team reeks of no chemistry and lack of timing or whatever you want to call it. Funny how all of those things fall on one guy.

Offense Is The Problem. Why Can't We Score? When It Is A Passing Down It Is The Shotgun, 2nd And 4.....shotgun. When We Run He Is Under Center And It Gives The Advantage To The Defense, Eliminates Any Doubt. Why? is It Because Cullpepper Can't Back Pedal Fast Enough? There Isn't Any Playaction

Culpepper played better. I'm sure he'll continue improving. People forget that Harrington is terrible.

Given the state of our o-line it wouldn't matter if dan marino was back there. He would be eaten up as well. No quarter back could handle our o-line right now. Add to the fact that neither booker nor chambers are getting open consistently and we have to have brown and mcmichael in to block and maybe that is why welker is getting the ball thrown to him so much...you guys need to think about it instead of crucifying the easiest player....

will you people shut up with this nonsense. It's getting really annoying and completely false. Culpepper is not getting any better, and you have no idea how Harrington would play with a much better cast here than he had in Detroit. And after all, saying Harrington is terrible, but failing to look at Culpeppers stats the last 1.5 years, doesn't really make sense.

You are partly correct, but if you don't see the problems with DC then you are blind. There is a reason teams are blitzing the heck out of him. Because they know he doesn't make quick decisions and he hardly ever throws the ball away.
He had receivers in single coverage all day and he hesitates to throw the ball.
Now having said that, I will also say that the team as a whole is not executing well. I don't think its all talent related. There just seems to be a general malaise on this team and that has to fall sharply on Saban.

My 2 cents: Our O-line is the worse Miami O-line I have ever seen, our receivers are pedestrian at best (Booker outright sucks), and DC - well he just doesn't look the same. I don't know if DC will ever get back to his pre-injury status.

I agree that Ronnie & Welker are the only bright spots on the offense. Its going to be a long season.

I see a qb that isn't 100% healthy but put harrington in and what are you guys going to be calling for lemon when harrington gets sacked too much and throws int's? The problem is WAY beyond a single position at this point. We need to get back to the fundamentals because we cann't even execute them. It wouldn't matter who is behind center..if anyone believes that..then wow.

and you think Joey will do any better behind this offensive line?

How dare you go after Saban, that is against the rules here I think

I like Nick, but it is time to start holding him accountable. He has had 2 complete drafts, mini camps, OTAs, training camps, 9 preseason games and 20 regular season games under his belt. Our QB play is NO DIFFERENT than it has been, the offensive line has made ZERO progress, or safeties have gotten worse, and I'd even say JT has gone down in play with all the BS of moving him around.
