MERGED: Dion Jordan suspended 4 games

Jordan is eligible to participate in all offseason and preseason practices and games.

“Dion Jordan of the Miami Dolphins has been suspended without pay for the first four games of the 2014 regular season for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.

Jordan will be eligible to return to the Dolphins’ active roster on Monday, September 29 following the team’s September 28 game against the Oakland Raiders.

Jordan is eligible to participate in all offseason and preseason practices and games.”

“We were disappointed to learn about Dion’s suspension. Dion has accepted responsibility for his actions and is committed to improving, both on and off the field, in preparation for the upcoming year.”

“I recently learned from the NFL that I tested positive for stimulants that are banned under the NFL policy. I worked carefully with my advisors and the union to investigate the test results, and I take full responsibility for the test results. I’m very sorry for the impact of this situation on my teammates, coaches, Stephen Ross, the entire Dolphins organization, fans and my family as well. I will continue to work extremely hard during training camp and preseason. During the suspension, I will stay in top shape and will be ready to contribute upon my return.”

I'd complain but the guy I wanted instead of him, lane johnson, is also suspended for the same damn thing.

Why would a player that is looking to bulk in the offseason take stimulants??
 
Im pretty sure every NFL player takes PEDs. Humans don't gain that much muscle naturally...

with a lot of hard work and muscle milk etc you can. especially with a naturally athletic body like his
 
Since the last good news about the stadium renovations passing- has been a string of bad news.
 
He is now one failed test away from a 1 year ban. Also, this means he had already failed a test because the 4 game suspension is the 2nd step in the process. Basically...... This is BAD news.
 
Very disappointing. It is almost like the football Gods want the Dolphins to have at least one more bad thing happen to them than other teams. Pouncey gets injured, but then Kiko gets hurt for the Bills. NFL Gods can't have them on the same level, so Dion Jordan gets suspended.
