MERGED: Dion Jordan suspended 4 games

I never understand fans who enjoy bad news that happens to the team. I guess being able to say "I told you so" is more important than winning games.
 
I feel for the kid.....he was taken high in the draft with a bum shoulder, couldn't work out the way he wanted over the summer, had to rehab, lot a pressure on him to get on the field to earn his draft status and he cheated.....as sick as we feel as fans imagine how this kid feels right now, the one good thing is he gets to practice with the team over the summer so he will be able to work on his game and be ready to give us a boost when he returns.....our LB are hurting......hopefully he has some strong support or his head could get screwed up.....

Every team has some kind of player "scandal" virtually every season. Its football, like it or hate it.

Ped is automatic 4 games. Failed drug test is warning then 4 games
 
I checked adderall on wikipedia - apparently it is also a powerful aphrodisiac. He's still dumb to be taking it.

The 'came to FinHeaven and got kicked in the nuts' feeling is pretty ****ing routine at this point.
 
Adderall is basically speed. It increases focus and concentration and gives you lots of energy. Basically caffeine in large quantities. It's prescribed for children with adhd.

This is not like Ricky just enjoying smoking pot for pleasure, Dion has been caught with a stimulant in his system, believed to be adderall. Excuse my ignorance on the subject. Does the adderall just help to build muscle (we all knew that he needed to gain some weight) or does it have other effects? Is it addictive? My other concern is whether Dion was steered to take this substance by person employed by the Dolphins or whether he has been steered in this direction by his agent and the Team Trainer had no control?

Adderall has been banned in the National Football League (NFL), Major League Baseball (MLB), National Basketball Association (NBA), and the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA).[47] In leagues such as the NFL, there are very rigorous requirements to an exemption of the rule for any athlete to use the drug even if they are medically prescribed by their physician.[47]
