I think he might. If you've followed Jimmy over the years, you would know one thing. He doesn't extend himself to the media like he has this week unless he's up to something. The last time he did something similar to this, he was basically letting it be known that he wanted the coaching job here.
IMO, it isn't the coaching job he wants right now. I've got a feeling that Jimmy Johnson wants to attempt to save Dave Wannstedt's career yet again, and he knows what will get it done.
Don't be surprised if Wayne starts talking to Jimmy Johnson at some point about becoming the President of the Miami Dolphins.
Notice that the darts that he threw were more at the management of the Dolphins than at the coaching. The talk about giving up the draft picks and mortaging the future for the now. These are all vieled shots at the team management. To me, and I may be reading more into this than I should, he's basically telling everyone what HE would have done if he had control over the Dolphins.
