Merged:Does Jimmy Johnson have an agenda?/How Soon We Forget.

I'd be rather afraid he'd be keeping his ***-buddy around as the coach.:fire:
That's my biggest concern. There's no way he would demote or fire DW. If JJ was smart, he would wait until DW is fired and then come in.

The smart move if J.Johnson want a job in some capacity with the Fins would be to let Wayne fire Dave and Rick and then turn up to assume the job offered.

and nor did I. Jimmy Johnson had many poor picks on Offense - and he missed Randy Moss. He traded down for Avery while we could have ended up with Moss. So he took Cecil Collins but passed on Moss - that is simply bizarre!
James Johnson was not a bad pick - nor Karim Abdul Jabbar. Neither of those guys were high calliber enough to be NFL starters.
JJJ was more of a force pick. Miami needed a RB and he was the best available. KAJ was a decent stop gap back.

As for Moss. He missed Moss, he did not bypass him. He traded down before the '98 draft. Basically he outsmarted himself.

Close but no dice. Konrad was a good pick. His prime is being wasted under Wanstadt, but he is a player.
Very true. Why they resigned him to such a large deal two years ago still blows me away. That much money for a false decoy and a blocking back.

meaning I can give JJ the benefit of the doubt due to injury but he chose another loser reciever who ended up on the Cardinals. A speed guy who stunk - but speaking of forgetting I forget who that was.
Are you referring to Randal Hill? If so, he was a Shula draft pick from '91.
JJ resigned him for one year as a FA.

No offense, but this thread is pointless IMO....

Jimmy is an analyst now. He was merely analyzing the Dolphins IMO. He has zero interest in joining the Miami Dolphins. What would make him qualified to become the Dolphins President or GM anyway???....

He's just a name. An old name at that....

PHINZ RULE!!!

Jimmy Johnson was a terrible coach in Miami, he drafted well in later rds, but his 1st rd picks were terrible-John Avery? Daryl Gardener was his best 1st rd pick and the only one I believe that made an impact with Miami.
