Like the title, Dolphins contact free agent cornerback Mike McKenzie per ESPN ticker. He's 32 now but used to be pretty good when healthy. They must know now that Eric Green is not going to work out, which makes me very happy.
 
not sold on a 32 yr old CB. by then they have lost speed and i do remember mckenzie being descent but idk.
 
Very interesting development. He was solid with New Orleans last year, but didn't exactly shut down the league, which is probably why they let him go in spite of their chronic secondary issues.
 
i'd rather our rooks compete for the starting spot, but mckenzie wouldn't ask for too much loot. i can go either way on this one.
 
sounds like the Dolphins spoke with their agents in case of disaster at cb and the agents called somebody who knows somebody thats a producer at espn to get their clients name out there. much ado about not much.
 
Agent just doing his job in bosting his clients name. Some say Eric Green can be done, well it also could be J Allen.

That's what I am thinking but if not Vontae Davis, Sean Smith, Mike McKenzie, Will Allen, and Eric Green or Jason Allen works for me. Also, I will have a column done tomorrow.. Thanks
 
I always liked Mike McKenzie, he had some good years in GB. Would be nice to get some solid veteran leadership. Gotta love this regime still trying to add more depth..
 
That's cool.. might as well get a FA corner that actually, you know, can play corner
