alright we are going to full throttle youth at Wideout. Hope we have some one to step up and shine.
 
Right move to cut him but we still have the worst WR corps in the NFL so not really gonna celebrate. Glad to see Philbin's zero tolerance which is great.

I know right. If we want to replace Chad's production we could sign Nat Moore.

And the people who think this is bad because now our WR corps is trash....... it was trash anyway. Chad Johnson brought nothing to the table in terms of on the field production. Were talking about a guy who caught about 10 passes last season. GET REAL.

And for those who think our receiving corps is good...... Im sorry. Its not. In fact its real bad. Look, I have nothing against the guys who are left on our roster at WR, in fact I like them all personally. I also think a couple of the young guys might develope into good players. But, you have to be kidding me if you think this is a good unit.

There isnt a guy on the roster who is truly a starting caliber receiver. Either they have already proven to be #3 or #4 guys(Bess Hartline and Naanee, who I like btw, but has been in the league for sometime and pretty much been consistantly a #4 on most teams), or they havent yet proven they can be quality NFL receivers, much less starters(Wallace, Pruitt, Moore, the rookies).
 
I hope Wallace, Moore, and/or Pruitt grow up fast and prove doubters of our WR corps wrong.....

Everyone has an opinion, and you are surely entitled to yours. Mine is a little different. I thought they should have cut him after his language in his presser. He is one of 53 faces of a billion dollar corporation. You wouldn't see some high priced lawyer keep his job after acting like a five year old with limited vocabulary talking that way to the reporters. He is one of the faces of a franchise that represents one of the major cities in this country. He has a responsibity to act like an adult. Acting like a child in front of whole world, then head butting your wife, is not the way a reasonable professional acts. The FO had the responsibility of showing the world AND their own team how they were going to respond to such behavior. Now the bar is set. If you want to act like a child take your show elsewhere.

Theres still a chance we sign someone cut from another team. Whether anyone good will be available is another story. I do like our young guys. Really need Hartline though.
