I'll get attacked for this, but i dont care... it amazes me how many couch coaches are on this sight...everyone has an opinion on how to run this team, and whats best etc... but are not even looking at the big picture. i read that " this was a great move for the coach to set an example"...what example did he give when misi got arrested for battery? but then here is the kicker...ireland was quoted saying " coming to miami, everyone has a clean slate" just cause chad went out and did a bad press release, he is now not worth a spot on this team cause he got arrested and the official report isn't even out yet??? Did anybody see the preseason game? does anybody go to the camps, or read the evaluations? our WR are at best under par...and chad was a glimpse of an improvement...he had a drop ball in the scrimage in the middle...OOOOO...did you forget all the other catches he had..he dropped 1...oh ok he dropped the pass in the opener that stalled the scoring drive...he got 1 ball thrown to him all night... Im not defending his actions of the field because hitting a woman is wrong on any level, but the offical report isnt even out yet, and the fan base here has already place judgment on the man with only 1 prior law infraction when he was in college... innocent til proved guilty ppl, not guilty til proven innocent. im not a fan of the antics of chad, or his off field performances, but he was probably one of the best wr we had on this roster. bottom line, my point is if your gonna say clean slate, go by it...if your gonna cut a player for getting arrested, misi should be gone also. dolphins front office need to practie what they preach.
