"The Miami Dolphins have made the following roster moves. Waived: RB Anthony Kimble, LB Orion Martin, LB Tearrius George, NT Joe Cohen. Waived/Injured: WR Chris Williams. Contract Terminated: WR Ernest Wilford."

I see it posted on Miami Dolphins facebook page but i have found no other source, anyone else?
 
Smart move IMO. Getting rid of the guys you know wern't going to make it gives the bubble guys that much more time to play.
 
I agree, just find it awkward that i found it on facebook but no other reports on it (besides wilford ofcourse)
 
Just got it to my phone from Omar kelly. kinda sorry to see williams cut but kid blew it.
 
wonder why we're doing it so early? we have till after the next game to get our roster down... whats the rush?
 
Gives the bubble guys more playing time. No sense keeping guys you know will never make it. Theyve had 20 something TC sessions and 2 pre-season games....did any of these guys stand out to you??

Why waste time with guys you know aren't in your plans, and give valuable reps away to bubble guys who need them more.

Plus it gives these youngsters more time to potentially catch on with another team, making the Dolphins front office more player friendly in terms of not keeping a guy hostage until the end of camp/preseason where it would be damn near impossible for them to catch on with another team.
 
5 Dolphins just waived
