Dolphins have best linebacker

According to some Nfl sources the miami dolphins have the best linebacker right now.
Zach Thomas is the best linebacker.
I think there's a fair argument to say that over the last 10 years, Zach Thomas has been the most productive linebacker in the league. He has more tackles over that time than Ray Lewis and whilst he may not generate the same 'aura' on (and off) the field as Lewis, I believe the Dolphins have had the league's best linebacker for the last decade. And once again he's delivering the goods this year -- at times it seems he's the only Dolphins player actually making tackles."

I really like Zach and think that he is underrated as a LB. But, if I had to choose who I wanted on my team to play MLB, I'd choose Ray Lewis over Zach any day of the week.

I think that having the most tackles is a stat that ZT would rather not have... it really means the defense has been on the field too long and having to defend too many plays.

I respect ZT as a very productive pro and the Dolphins are fortunate to have the guy. However, he would not be on my short list of LB's that are truly rainmakers (game changers)

I dont know about that one.. in past years we have always had a top defense, I think its just the fact that the guy flat out makes most of the tackles registered in a game..

Plain and simply Zach Thomas is one of the best in the game bar none. Doubtful that he is the absolute best though.
